Business Development Manager
At The Perk Company we are expanding fast. We are premier providers of cutting-edge refreshment solutions—from premium bean-to-cup coffee machines and high-tech vending equipment to state-of-the-art smart fridges and unattended micro-markets.
We are looking for a hungry, energetic Business Development Manager to help us supercharge our growth across the Greater West Midlands.
You won't be flying completely solo. While you will be out in the field winning clients, you will be backed by our high-performing internal telesales team providing warm leads along side your own appointments using our CRM system.
What’s in it for you?
- Real Earning Potential: A strong basic in the mid £35k bracket with an un-capped, completely realistic £60k+ OTE. The blueprint is there—our existing sales team proves these numbers are highly achievable.
- Company Car / Allowance: Everything you need to hit the road and own your territory.
- The Vending Sales Academy: No direct vending experience? No problem. Our fully funded, bespoke training programme covers every aspect of the industry and the modern B2B sales cycle.
- Warm Lead Pipeline: Our active internal telesales team will feed you qualified appointments to keep your diary moving alongside your own self-generated leads.
- Fully Equipped: Company laptop and mobile phone from day one, plus a company pension scheme.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
