Business Development Executive / Sales Manager – E-Waste Division

£24,000 Basic Salary + 10% Commission + Performance Bonuses

Monday to Friday | Mileage and Business Expenses Paid

We are growing our dedicated E-Waste Division and looking for a driven Business Development Executive to help develop this fast-growing market.

You will generate new business, speak with key decision-makers and build lasting relationships with waste management companies, data centres and other commercial organisations requiring secure, compliant and environmentally responsible electronic waste recycling. This is an autonomous role for someone who enjoys creating opportunities, achieving targets and earning commission.

The Role

  • Generate your own new-business opportunities
  • Make outbound calls and approach prospective clients
  • Target waste management companies, data centres and commercial organisations
  • Manage a CRM database of more than 1,000 potential customers
  • Book and attend appointments with key decision-makers
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and manage accounts across the region
  • Develop long-term commercial relationships
  • Increase monthly e-waste tonnage and revenue
  • Attend customer meetings when required

Salary, Commission and Bonuses

  • £24,000 basic salary
  • 10% commission
  • Monthly tonnage commission of approximately £300 – £500
  • Mileage and business expenses paid
  • Company pension
  • Monday-to-Friday working

Appointment Bonus Structure:

  • 0–20 appointments: £3,000 annual bonus
  • 20–30 appointments: Additional £3,000
  • 30+ appointments: Additional £3,000
  • More than 30 appointments: Further £750 bonus

The typical monthly target is approximately 30–50 tonnes, offering strong earning potential through commission, appointments and performance bonuses.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in sales, telesales, business development or account management
  • Confidence making outbound calls and approaching new clients
  • A proactive, self-motivated and resilient attitude
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to manage a large sales pipeline through a CRM
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings

Experience within recycling, waste management, IT services or data centres would be beneficial but is not essential.
