We're working with an established international consultancy expanding into the UK. The business specialises in sustainability and ESG advisory, supporting organisations with everything from regulatory compliance to full sustainability strategy and implementation.

They are now looking to appoint a freelance Business Development Manager to develop the UK market.

What You’ll Be Selling

You will represent a full-service sustainability consultancy, offering practical, revenue-linked solutions to businesses under increasing pressure to meet ESG and regulatory requirements.

The service is not theoretical consulting, it is hands-on, commercially relevant support that companies are actively buying.

Core areas include:

  • ESG & sustainability strategy - helping companies define and implement practical sustainability roadmaps
  • Regulatory compliance (e.g. CSRD) - guiding organisations through complex reporting requirements
  • EcoVadis & B Corp support - improving ratings and achieving certifications that directly impact sales and tenders
  • Net zero & decarbonisation - carbon measurement, target setting, and reduction strategies
  • Supply chain & supplier engagement - helping businesses manage risk and meet sustainability expectations across their operations
  • Outsourced sustainability management - acting as an embedded sustainability function for clients

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
