Business Development Manager

Remote UK | Accountancy & Professional Services Sector | Consultative Sales & Advisory

We're working with a specialist technology and consulting organisation that supports accountancy, financial services, and professional services firms with technology strategy, cybersecurity, cloud services, and digital transformation.

As part of their continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager with a strong understanding of the accountancy sector and a passion for building trusted client relationships.

This is not a traditional sales role focused on cold outreach and high-volume targets. Instead, it is a consultative position that combines relationship development, strategic advisory services, and commercial growth.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will become a trusted adviser to senior leaders within accountancy and professional services firms, helping them identify opportunities to improve business performance through technology.

You will be responsible for developing and growing a portfolio of client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional services, and working closely with technical specialists to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

The role would suit someone who has worked within accountancy technology, professional services, IT consulting, business systems, or digital transformation and is looking to move into a more commercially focused position.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
