The Role
As Business Development Manager, you will win new business and grow existing accounts across your territory. You will engage Key Opinion Leaders such as Tissue Viability Nurses, Infection Control Nurse, Manual Handling, Facilities Managers, Procurement, Department Heads in hospitals and deliver product presentations on wards. Doing this in a consultative sales approach, selling a range of medical equipment such as chairs, commodes, drip stands, and proctogram chairs. You will also manage a CRM-led pipeline and forecast, and report on competitor activity and market trends.

Requirements
- Experience selling to Tissue Viability Nurses, Infection Control, Estates, and Facilities/EBME or similar/related.
- Comfortable communicating at a clinical level and quick to build relationships.
- Sold into/within the NHS space a product or services (physical service, e.g., maintenance contracts, etc.).
The Package
- £40,000-£50,000 basic, depending on experience
- £20,000+ OTE
- Company van
- 7% pension
- 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays

This is a British manufacturer and supplier of hospital and rehabilitation equipment. It has more than 50 years' experience supplying NHS hospitals and sells in over 25 countries. It is one of a small number of companies that still design and make their products in the UK, and it works from a large, purpose-built site. The range includes patient transfer and bedside chairs, pressure care, bathing and mobility equipment, and products with an anti-microbial coating designed to support infection prevention. The company is ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 14001 accredited and an approved NHS supplier. It combines a long-standing reputation with continued growth.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Candidates must have experience selling to the NHS, ideally secondary care.
- Experience selling to Tissue Viability Nurses, Infection Control, Estates, and Facilities will enhance your application.
