Business Development Manager
Worcester | B2B Consultative Sales | Corporate Sector | £35,000 - £40,000
Some sales roles ask you to manage accounts.
This isn't one of them.
We're looking for a genuine business developer. Someone who enjoys identifying opportunities, opening doors, building relationships and winning new clients through a consultative approach.
If you're motivated by creating opportunities from scratch, developing strategic partnerships, and helping clients solve real business challenges, this could be the role you've been looking for.
The Opportunity
Joining a growing and ambitious organisation, you'll play a key role in driving new business growth within the corporate sector.
This is a solutions-led role where success comes from understanding a customer's challenges, building trust with key stakeholders and developing long-term partnerships. There are no products to push and no hard-sell tactics. Instead, you'll be helping organisations access specialist training and development solutions that make a genuine impact.
Working alongside marketing and operational teams, you'll develop your own pipeline, uncover opportunities in target markets and contribute directly to the company's ongoing growth plans.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
