Your role

As a Business Development Manager your mission will be to make Atlas Copco in UK the market leader in Process Filtration; ensuring we are First in Mind, First in Choice when customers need sustainable process filtration solutions. You will report to Eric Forde.

You Will

  • Promoting the company’s Process Filtration portfolio and competence development
  • Interacting and collaborating intensely with various business lines and the Process Filtration competence centre.
  • Interacting and collaborating with Business Development Managers in other countries Ireland, Italy, Spain, Germany, etc
  • Achieving and exceeding the expectations in growing and sustaining the new division’s sales to large and medium-size accounts reporting to the Medical Gas Solutions Business Line Manager, the successful candidate will be actively involved in setting these targets within the region
  • Delivering sales and Key Account territorial management within the geographical area, in conjunction with the allocated sales routes while working to agreed targets
  • Increase and develop the levels of customer satisfaction through increased contact with all distributors
  • Coaching and motivating the Compressor Technique area sales engineers, providing supporting resources as required to support any targets set
  • Monitoring direct sales activity and support including defining and delivering key objectives to achieve your VC (variable pay) and that of other stakeholders
  • Be actively involved with sales product and marketing campaigns in conjunction with the other managers of Atlas Copco within set time scales
  • Supporting new product introductions
  • Sharing of leads for Compressors, Nitrogen, Chillers, service etc. is very important as is the ability to network within Atlas Copco and externally.
  • Updating all data in the required time scales: monthly reports, distributor analysis, forecasting and generated lead information

  • Be eligible to work in UK
  • Possess a degree in engineering or equivalent qualifications or experience
  • Have an understanding of sales and marketing theory and best practices
  • Is Computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word
  • Has excellent communication skills, particularly when listening, questioning and presenting ideas and concepts
  • Willing to travel within the whole of UK
