Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Home Based - covering Southeast and London South

Working Hours: Full time, 36 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £43,000 per year

About The Role

We're looking for a passionate and ambitious Business Development Manager who shares that vision and wants to make a real difference.

This is more than a sales role. It's an opportunity to build meaningful partnerships with companies, educators and industry leaders, helping individuals and organisations access professional membership, training and development opportunities that raise standards across the sector.

Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of the Company Engagement Team, you will:

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities
  • Manage and grow strategic accounts and promote the benefits of Chartered Company status.
  • Work closely with organisations to develop tailored professional development solutions and Academy training programmes.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • A confident relationship builder who thrives on engaging senior stakeholders, influencing decision-makers, and delivering measurable results
  • A proven track record in business development, consultative sales or account management.
  • Thrives on building lasting relationships and creating new opportunities.
  • Motivated by targets but driven by purpose.
  • Communicates confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Brings professionalism, integrity and a genuine desire to support positive change within the built environment.
  • Enjoys working independently while collaborating with colleagues across a national team.
