Business Development Manager – Insurance Services
iRevolution Group supports UK insurance brokers, insurers and MGAs through four specialist businesses:
- iRevolution Connect provides real time, criteria matched insurance leads by warm transfer from our Sunderland call centre, or as live web leads via API.
- iRevolution Extra provides bespoke ancillary products, including motor legal expenses, breakdown cover and excess protection.
- iRevolution Claims provides a fully white labelled, 24/7/365 First Notification of Loss service.
- iRevolution Repair Network provides nationwide vehicle repairs, getting customers back on the road quickly after a claim.
The business has grown significantly, and we're now entering our next phase of growth. We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join our existing sales team and help keep that momentum going.
The role
You'll win new broker, insurer and MGA partners across all four businesses, build your own broker panel, and support our established broker relationships. It's a genuine opportunity to put your own mark on a growing business.
What you'll be doing
- Identifying and winning new broker, MGA and insurer partners across Connect, Extra, Claims and Repair.
- Building, managing and growing your own broker panel, including regular account reviews.
- Supporting our existing broker partners as a key point of contact, helping to resolve queries and keep relationships strong.
- Working with existing brokers to improve performance, such as increasing add-on take up, making sure customers know how to reach our claims service, and introducing our Repair Network to support their claims journey.
- Running regular check-ins and reviews with existing partners to spot problems early and find growth opportunities.
- Spotting cross-sell opportunities so partners use more than one iRevolution service, across leads, add-ons, claims and repairs.
- Supporting the wider sales function with proposals, pitches and tender responses.
- Representing iRevolution at company and industry events throughout the year.
- Keeping pipeline and activity up to date in our CRM and reporting on progress.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
