Role Description: The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Wrotham, responsible for driving new business and expanding existing client relationships. Day-to-day activities include identifying and qualifying leads, conducting outreach via calls, emails, and meetings, and presenting tailored merchandise and promotional solutions to prospective and current clients. The role involves preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating pricing and terms, and managing opportunities through the sales pipeline to successful close. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with internal teams on product options, sustainability-focused solutions, and project timelines to ensure high-quality delivery. Ongoing responsibilities include monitoring market trends, attending industry events when needed, maintaining accurate CRM records, and providing regular performance reports.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within marketing, promotions, or branded merchandise.
- Strong skills in lead generation, client relationship building, and consultative selling, with the ability to understand client needs and propose suitable solutions.
- Ability to prepare and deliver clear presentations, proposals, and pricing, and to negotiate effectively with decision-makers.
- Comfort working with budgets, margins, and sales targets, with a results-oriented and commercially aware mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and engage with diverse clients.
- Organized, detail-focused work style, including accurate record-keeping in CRM tools and timely follow-up on opportunities.
- Interest in sustainable and eco-friendly products, and willingness to stay informed about industry trends and new merchandise options.
- Ability to work on-site in Wrotham on a full-time basis; valid right to work in the relevant country.
- Relevant education (such as a degree or vocational qualification in business, marketing, or a related field) is beneficial but not mandatory when balanced by strong experience.
