Job Description
Business Development Manager
Field Based Business Development Manager
Competitive salary + Commission depending on experience
Birmingham / Leeds / Manchester Triangle
Know your way around a group head as well as you know your way around a sales pipeline? This could be the perfect next step.
We’re proud to be partnering with Espresso Solutions, a well regarded name in the coffee equipment and service industry, supplying and supporting everyone from independent coffee shops to hotel groups, restaurant chains and the engineers who keep it all running. As they continue to grow, they’re looking for a Business Development Manager to drive that growth across UK hospitality businesses.
This is a hands-on, field-based role for someone who already knows coffee equipment inside out, machines, grinders, water treatment and the parts that keep a business running, and who would rather be out visiting customers than sat behind a desk. You’ll own and grow relationships across the full customer base, nurturing existing accounts and bringing new prospects on board, becoming the trusted face of Espresso Solutions in the field.
What's in it for you?
- Commission structure rewarding new business, account growth and the nurturing of existing clientele, with a generous OTE
- 21 Days Holiday & Bank Holidays
- Your Birthday off!
- Company car provided for business travel
- Phone and laptop provided.
- Access to Mintago for financial wellbeing advice, discounts and salary sacrifice schemes.
- The opportunity to join a growing, well-regarded name in the coffee equipment and service industry, with genuine autonomy and room to shape the role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
