About The Company

WealthFusion Limited operates in London, UK and is regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority. The firm is a multi-family office that provides bespoke wealth management investment and estate-planning advice against a range of regulated products and services with the aim of building long-term business relationships. Our firm believes in creating an environment where creativity of thought is applauded and met with a passion to deliver sustained long-term financial results whilst acknowledging each client’s appetite for risk is different. Over the years, we have supported the needs of our clients by providing knowledgeable team members who understand each client’s needs by placing customer service at the heart of our business operation. This, together with a strong focus on excellent communication skills ensures the creation of new business relationships through a robust sales lead pipeline.

The WealthFusion (DIFC Representative Office) is an extension of the London Team and this new formed entity has been established to expand the firm’s client base across the Middle East region. As a result, we are now looking to expand our Sales Team by hiring an experienced and enthusiastic Business Development Manager who possesses characteristics that ensure the firm continues delivering outstanding levels of customer service, identifies new customer and business relationships and works seamlessly with colleagues across different time zones.

The Opportunity

This is an Assistant Vice President level role with genuine personal development opportunities to contribute to the sales pipeline already operating from the UK by building local connections and networks within Dubai and sharing these opportunities with Relationship Managers based in London. As part of the successful candidate’s introduction to the firm’s internal processes and external regulatory frameworks, a London based induction program will be offered during the first six months and then semi-annual visits to London, UK and/or Zurich, Switzerland will ensure continued strong connectivity to the entire Sales Team and individuals that support all sales activity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

The role is a marketing, origination and relationship-development position for WealthFusion’s external asset manager (‘EAM’) business model. The Business Development Manager must always act as an employee of a representative office and not as an investment adviser, arranger or dealer. The key responsibilities for this role are as follows:

  • Develop a qualified pipeline of prospective ultra-high-net-worth clients and family offices across the Middle East, with particular focus on relationships capable of meeting WealthFusion’s target client profile, ordinarily including investable assets of US$1 million or more.
  • Market only DFSA-approved and internally approved information about WealthFusion Limited, its EAM proposition and services; explain the proposition at a general and factual level without making a personal recommendation.
  • Identify the needs at a high level, arrange introductions, and refer prospect client names to authorised WealthFusion Limited personnel and relevant third-party banks for advice.
  • Co-ordinate meetings and, when permitted, facilitate the administrative transfer of documents.
  • Build referral relationships with lawyers, trustees, custodian banks subject to internal controls.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline forecasts, source of lead information, contact reports, approvals, and marketing records; promptly reporting complaints, sanctions concerns and financial crime red flags to other team members to action.
  • Provide the London Team with market intelligence, competitor observations, client themes, and commercial opportunities, whilst respecting confidentiality and data protection requirements.
  • Support approved events, presentations and strategic initiatives, collaborating across functions and time zones to meet agreed objectives for qualified introductions and conversion quality.
  • Perform other lawful and reasonable duties consistent with the representative office license and this role.
  • Ensure service excellence and protect the company by implementing an effective control environment.
  • Develop dialogue channels which foster a level of trust and commitment resulting in positive client relationships.
