About the Role
We are seeking a relentless, passionate, and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager/Director to join our fast-growing Personal Remittance team in London.
Operating with a true startup mentality within a global fintech powerhouse, you will be the driving force behind our regional C2C cross-border remittance expansion. In this role, you will hustle to build vital remittance corridors, striking strategic partnerships with external networks (banks, MTOs, and global aggregators) to drive explosive revenue growth and active user acquisition.
This is not a traditional corporate job—this is a unique opportunity to act as a "founder" for our regional C2C business. You will shape the product strategy, deeply understand the pulse of our migrant and expat user base, and outmaneuver the competition.
By joining us, you will directly impact how millions of people connect with their families and send money home, bringing inclusive financial power to real people across the globe.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love turning complex challenges into seamless user experiences, and have a burning desire to disrupt the cross-border payment space, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead Regional Expansion: Aggressively identify, pitch, and secure critical partnerships with key ecosystem players (local banks, MTOs, aggregators) to build and scale robust C2C remittance corridors.
- Drive Market Penetration & Growth: Own the commercial numbers. Collaborate with partners to design and launch creative co-marketing campaigns and expand channel reach, significantly boosting product awareness and user acquisition in target segments.
- Architect Product Strategy: Act as the voice of the market. Deeply understand the pain points of our target demographics and partner directly with internal engineering and product teams to build highly competitive, sticky, and localized personal account/remittance features.
- Master Competitive Intelligence: Keep a relentless pulse on market dynamics and competitor activities. Formulate agile, data-driven business plans to ensure we stay one step ahead.
- Execute Complex Deals from End-to-End: Navigate the entire lifecycle of partnerships, from initial prospecting and commercial negotiation to technical integration and post-launch optimization, ensuring all initiatives meet compliance and regulatory standards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
