Through innovative IT systems, client-members gain instant access to crucial trading partners data & monitoring, enabling fast and informed credit decisions and rapid referral of overdue accounts and bad debts. The organization has assisted tens of thousands of businesses over the years (Established 1914), helping them navigate volatile trading conditions and avoid financial risk through state-of-the-art credit management tools.
Role Description
The Business Development Manager/Partner is a full-time, remote role based in the Home Counties/London Area, United Kingdom. The role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities, often introduced by current members (clients) referrals and marketing inquires/warm leads from our HQ. Day-to-day responsibilities include visiting prospects and qualifying leads, preparing and delivering tailored presentations both in-person and on-line, managing the sales pipeline for your territory, and negotiating commercial terms in line with structured policies. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, monitoring client satisfaction, and gathering market intelligence to support product and service improvements. The Business Development Manager/Partner is expected to meet defined performance targets, maintain and follow our method of service description to be successful, and represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and networking activities for your territory.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in business development, B2B sales, or account management within financial services, credit management, or a related sector.
- Strong skills in relationship building, stakeholder management, and customer engagement, with the ability to communicate complex solutions clearly.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, standard office software, and digital communication tools to manage pipelines, reporting, and client interactions.
- Solid understanding of credit control, risk assessment, or financial decision-making processes, or a strong willingness to develop expertise in these areas.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and negotiation abilities, with a professional and ethical approach.
- Proven organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet agreed targets.
- Relevant education such as a degree or professional qualification in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline is advantageous.
- Comfort with on-site client visits across the U.K. as required, and a commitment to providing inclusive, non-discriminatory service to all clients.
- You prefer earnings that reflect your results, and you're comfortable running your own diary and pipeline.

What you can earn
- Commission paid weekly.
- Renewal commission paid on automatic continuation year on year.
- Three valid sales a month earns £56,800+ a year, with no cap.
- Typical sale value varies dependant on Member requirements (between 3-10k). Typical results for selected driven candidates starts at 1-3 sales per month.
