Business Development & Marketing Assistant

Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Business Development and Marketing team in a varied, hands-on role supporting the delivery of marketing, business development and profile raising activity across the firm.

You’ll work closely with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, helping to coordinate projects, support campaigns and contribute to the smooth running of a busy, collaborative team.

The role would suit someone who is proactive, organised and comfortable working at pace, with strong communication skills and an interest in building their experience in a professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Role

  • Support the BDM team in delivering the BDM strategy to our key stakeholders
  • Support the BDM team with client reporting and metrics
  • Support the BDM team in co-ordinating events and webinars
  • Support the BDM team in co-ordinating campaigns and other activities
  • Work with the BDM team on the upkeep of our website
  • Work with the BDM team to co-ordinate social posts
  • Work within the emailing platform to create mailing campaigns and keep mailing list data up-to-date
  • Produce ad hoc reports and research as required
  • Work with the BDM team to create marketing collateral and keep our internal library up to date
  • Support the external legal directory consultant in the production of our annual submissions
  • Identify and purchase branded goods as required

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Key experience

  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrate great attention to detail.
  • Be a smart, fast, reliable and enthusiastic team player.
  • Have excellent organisational skills: be a multi-tasker with the ability to manage assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.
  • Be able to adapt and use new platforms quickly and effectively.
  • The ability to build, maintain and nurture relationships
