SWM Solicitors is looking for motivated and professional individuals to join our team in a client introduction and business development role.

The successful candidate will help identify potential clients who may require legal assistance and introduce them to our firm. They may also have the opportunity to undertake appropriate paralegal and administrative work on matters assigned to them, subject to the firm’s supervision and regulatory requirements.

Areas of work may include:

  • Immigration and asylum
  • Family law
  • Employment matters
  • Criminal matters
  • Civil and commercial matters
  • Housing and landlord and tenant matters
  • Other areas handled by the firm

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing professional networks and generating genuine client enquiries
  • Introducing prospective clients to the firm with their consent
  • Arranging initial appointments
  • Maintaining accurate records of enquiries and introductions
  • Supporting lawyers with administrative and paralegal work where appropriate
  • Maintaining client confidentiality at all times
  • Representing SWM Solicitors professionally and responsibly

Important: This role does not involve providing independent legal advice. You must not hold yourself out as a solicitor, barrister or regulated immigration adviser unless you are appropriately authorised to do so.

Previous experience in legal services, client relations, community engagement, business development or administration is useful but not essential. We welcome applications from individuals who are professional, motivated, well-connected and keen to develop a long-term career within the legal sector.

Earnings: Competitive remuneration, with an additional performance-related payment structure for eligible client introductions, subject to the firm’s policies and regulatory requirements.
