About the opportunity
Colour Me Social is looking for a freelance Business Development Partner to help grow Leader Brand, our leadership visibility service for busy founders, CEOs and senior leaders.
This is a self-employed, commission-only opportunity with no basic salary, and we want to be completely transparent about that from the outset.
It is open not just to people based in the UK, but North America too.
In return, we offer a clear service, a defined audience, full flexibility over how you work, and a commission structure designed to make successful business development genuinely worthwhile.
About Leader Brand
Leader Brand was created around a very common challenge.
Many founders and senior leaders know they need to be more visible. They know their profile can help build trust, strengthen credibility, support business development and make the organisation more memorable.
The problem is usually not a lack of expertise or things to say. It is time.
They don't want to spend hours every week trying to work out what to post, writing content from scratch or feeding ideas into AI tools that flatten their voice and make them sound like everyone else. And they definitely want to avoid sounding like "AI slop".
Leader Brand solves that by turning one monthly conversation into a structured bank of content in the leader’s own voice.
That can include LinkedIn posts, longer-form content, short video or audio, FAQs, sales follow-ups and other content that can be reused across the business.
For the right client, it removes one of the biggest barriers to consistent leadership visibility: the ongoing effort required to create the content.
That is what makes the service straightforward to sell. The audience is clear, the problem is familiar and the proposition is easy to understand:
- One hour.
- One conversation.
- A month of content.
Clients commit for a minimum of three months, with monthly retainers ranging from £795 to £2,195.
About Colour Me Social
Colour Me Social is a proudly inclusive marketing collective helping busy businesses and leaders become more visible through clear, credible content since 2015.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
We work with SMEs, founders, senior leaders and small marketing teams that often have plenty to say, but not always the time, capacity or know-how to turn that expertise into consistent content.
Our work spans content strategy and creation, leadership visibility and social media management.
At the heart of how we work is a simple principle: human thinking first, content second.
We are not interested in filling channels for the sake of it or producing generic AI-led content. We help clients turn their own experience, ideas and expertise into content that sounds like them, builds trust and supports stronger commercial conversations.
Leader Brand is one of the clearest expressions of that approach.
What you’ll do
Your focus will be generating opportunities with founders, business owners, CEOs and senior leaders who are a good fit for Leader Brand.
Leads can come from your existing relationships, your professional network, referrals or new business development activity.
You will have flexibility over how you approach the role and how much of the sales process you want to manage.
You may choose to focus on identifying prospects, opening doors and arranging qualified conversations. In that case, we are happy to step in and manage the sales conversation from there.
Alternatively, if you are experienced and comfortable managing the full sales process, you can take opportunities through to close yourself.
We want the earning potential to reflect the value of bringing new business into Colour Me Social.
Depending on the Leader Brand package and your level of involvement in the sale, commission can range from approximately £700 to £3,300 per new client.
The structure rewards both successful introductions and full sales, with higher commission available where you manage the opportunity through to close.
Full and totally transparent details of the commission structure will be discussed during the recruitment process.

Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
Commission is paid as client payments are received, and there is no cap on the number of clients you can introduce or sell.
And, of course, you are more than welcome to promote our other services too!
Who this could suit
This opportunity could work particularly well for someone who:
- Has experience in B2B business development or sales
- Ideally, but not essential, experience in promoting similar marketing-led services
- Already works with founders, business owners or senior leaders
- Has an established professional network
- Is comfortable generating their own opportunities
- Enjoys relationship-led rather than high-pressure selling
- Understands how to identify a genuine commercial fit
- Works independently and values flexibility
You may already work on a freelance, fractional or portfolio basis and be looking to add another complementary service to your existing work.
What we’re not looking for
Leader Brand is built around credibility, trust and helping people communicate in their own voice.
We are not looking for aggressive sales tactics, indiscriminate cold outreach or high-volume messaging.
We want someone who can have good commercial conversations, understands the audience and represents the service in a way that feels human.
Why this could be a good opportunity
You will be selling one clearly defined service to a clearly defined audience, rather than having to understand or promote a long list of marketing services.
You will also have direct support from the founder of Colour Me Social throughout the sales process.
If your strength is creating opportunities rather than closing them, that is absolutely fine. We are happy to take over once a qualified conversation has been created.
And if you prefer to manage the full sales process, the commission structure rewards that additional involvement.
If you think you could help us put Leader Brand in front of more of the right people, we’d love to hear from you.
