Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who we’re looking for

You should have experience selling digital, software development, or technology services.

Ideally, you’ll already have a network in the UK startup, scale-up, or business community and a track record of personally bringing in projects for a software house, product studio, or digital agency.

We’re particularly interested in people who understand consultative sales and can sell projects in the £40k–£100k+ range. This isn’t a role for someone who only generates lead lists or books unqualified calls.

Compensation

This role will initially be commission-based.

We offer 10% commission on net project revenue actually received from clients you personally source and help close. Depending on the project, this could mean commission of £4k–£10k+ from a single successful engagement.

Commission is paid after Selcouth.DIGITAL receives payment from the client. VAT and direct third-party project costs are excluded from the calculation.

If the partnership works and produces a consistent pipeline, we would be open to moving towards a retainer plus commission arrangement.

How to apply

Please send a short introduction covering:

  • Your experience selling digital or software services
  • Two or three examples of clients or projects you personally helped win
  • The approximate value of those contracts
  • And how you would approach the first 30 days with Selcouth.DIGITAL

No long cover letter is needed. We’re mainly interested in your experience, network, and how you work.
