About the Role
LAKS PARTNERS is seeking a commercially driven Business Development & Partnerships Manager to develop our presence and referral network across the UK.
The role will focus on building strategic partnerships, generating qualified business opportunities and developing relationships with UK businesses requiring cost-effective Accounting, Finance and Outsourcing support.
This is a remote and field-based role suited to someone who enjoys relationship building, networking and developing new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach prospective UK businesses and referral partners
- Develop relationships with accountants, consultants, business advisers and other professional networks
- Generate qualified opportunities for accounting, finance and outsourcing services
- Conduct B2B cold calling, email outreach and professional networking
- Attend relevant business events and networking opportunities
- Arrange meetings with prospective clients and referral partners
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of business opportunities
- Follow up on leads, introductions and commercial opportunities
- Support the development of long-term referral partnerships
- Coordinate with management on proposals, opportunities and client conversion

Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in B2B sales, business development, partnerships or client acquisition
- Strong communication, networking and relationship-building skills
- Confident in cold calling and approaching new businesses
- Understanding of accounting, finance, outsourcing or professional services is highly desirable
- Existing relationships within the UK SME or professional-services market would be an advantage
- Comfortable attending business and networking events
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Commercially focused with a strong results-oriented mindset
- Based in the United Kingdom

Compensation
Competitive performance-based compensation, including an attractive commission structure linked to successfully generated and converted business.
A flexible commercial arrangement may be considered depending on the candidate's experience, network and ability to generate opportunities.
