About the Role
As Business Development Project Leader for the Portfolio Unit (PU) for the Ocean Division, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic growth agenda of the business. You will work closely with PU business leaders to identify, analyze, and accelerate high-value growth opportunities, leveraging market intelligence, financial analysis, and cross-business collaboration to turn insight into action. This is a dynamic role in a unit focused on Growth, Innovation, and Partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Business Development
- Co-create business development plans with PU business leaders, identifying, analyzing, and evaluating the potential of new growth initiatives.
- Build, own, and continuously track a priority opportunity funnel spanning multiple businesses within the PU.
- Drive the implementation and follow-through of business development plans, ensuring accountability and adaptability as market conditions evolve.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Integrate market, customer, competitor, and financial data into actionable intelligence that informs decision-making across PU organizations.
- Conduct in-depth market studies in close alignment with PU Leaders.
- Track and analyze market share performance for the Portfolio Unit, identifying trends and implications. Prepare and manage periodic competitor analyses.

Cross-Business Strategic Initiatives
- Lead and drive high-value cross-business initiatives, including digital platforms, energy efficiency solutions, multiband/multi-service concepts, and strategic customer programs.
- Act as a connector across businesses to ensure alignment, momentum, and measurable outcomes.
Who You Are
- An experienced marketing or sales professional with a growth mindset, strong analytical skills, and strategic thinking.
- Proven track record in creating and driving business plans, with a passion for growth, innovation, and sustainability.
- Collaborative, skilled at stakeholder management, and comfortable working across complex, multi-business organizations.
- Strong understanding of P&L drivers, market dynamics (especially marine), and competitive positioning.
- Proficient in data management and visualization.
- Energized by driving change and delivering measurable business results.
