The Team
Digital & Technology Services (DTS) helps clients create value through digital and technology-led change. We work with Corporate, Private Equity and Financial Services clients across areas including technology strategy, technology due diligence, IT carve-outs and integration, technology transformation, IT cost-out, data, AI, cloud, cyber, analytics and digital value creation. We are looking for a commercially focused Business Development and Pursuits Director to help accelerate DTS growth across EMEA.
This role will work closely with Managing Directors, sector leaders and client account teams to identify opportunities, build senior relationships and convert demand into revenue. The successful candidate will combine professional services business development experience, strong pursuit discipline and the confidence to work directly with senior stakeholders. They will help shape target account strategies, qualify opportunities, support high-priority proposals and position DTS as a trusted advisor to technology, finance and operating leaders. This is a high-impact role with significant exposure to senior leadership and direct influence on the growth of one of A&M’s fastest-growing businesses. It requires independence, commercial judgement, pace and the ability to turn market insight into practical growth activity.
How you will contribute
- Market and account development: develop target account plans across Corporate, Private Equity and Financial Services clients, aligned to DTS growth priorities, sector focus areas and senior stakeholder relationships.
- Opportunity generation: identify and qualify new opportunities through targeted outreach, relationship mapping, referrals, events, market insight and collaboration with A&M client account teams.
- Senior stakeholder engagement: build and maintain relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CFOs, PE operating partners and other executive decision makers.
- Pursuits and proposals: work with Managing Directors and sector leaders to shape pursuit strategies, buying hypotheses, pitch materials, credentials, RFP responses and client proposals.
- Commercial proposition development: translate complex technology themes into clear client value propositions linked to EBITDA improvement, operational efficiency, transaction value, risk reduction and growth.
- Cross-selling: connect DTS capabilities with broader A&M service lines, including performance improvement, transaction advisory, restructuring and transformation opportunities.
- Pipeline management: maintain CRM discipline, pipeline hygiene, opportunity tracking and performance reporting to provide clear visibility of activity, conversion and revenue potential.
- Marketing and campaigns: partner with marketing and practice leadership on events, campaigns, roundtables, thought leadership and market-facing content that supports demand generation.
- Market intelligence: bring insight on competitors, client priorities, technology trends and buying patterns to inform DTS growth strategy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
