The North Europe Regional Office is based in London, United Kingdom and covers over 19 countries, employing more than 1,500 people. The North Europe region targets to market, sell, and deliver the best possible products and serve customers through various channels and solutions at the most competitive cost.

Your Role

As a Regional Director, you will be at the forefront of CMA CGM’s commercial growth in North Europe. You will turn our asset base into differentiated, high-value offerings, design innovative solutions (rail corridors, barge solutions, green door-to-door logistics, value-added services), and drive revenue growth while improving cost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

What Are You Going to Do?

Business Development & Innovation

  • Identify and convert opportunities into tailored logistics solutions (ocean, intermodal, contract logistics)
  • Design and launch innovative products (e.g., rail corridors, barge solutions, green door-to-door offerings, value-added logistics services) that generate additional margin and/or structural cost savings for the Group
  • Challenge existing processes to propose data-backed improvements (market analysis, pricing, financial modeling)

Strategy & Partnerships

  • Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with key accounts, co-developing long-term solutions
  • Collaborate with commercial, trade, logistics, and operations teams to align network design, asset deployment, and commercial strategy
  • Lead market intelligence on European trade and logistics flows, translating insights into actionable initiatives

Investments & Innovation Culture

  • Identify and evaluate investment opportunities (assets, partnerships, M&A), including business case development and execution follow-up
  • Foster an agile and innovation-driven culture: experimentation, pilot projects, and continuous improvement

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Master’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10–15 years experience in business development, solution design, or commercial roles in the Shipping Industry
  • Proven track record in delivering complex, value-adding solutions (e.g., door-to-door logistics, integrated transport, dedicated solutions)
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to translate data into business opportunities (market analysis, pricing, financial modeling)
  • Leadership & Influence: excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: strong ownership and results-driven approach
  • Fluent in English, additional European languages is a plus
  • Willingness to travel across Europe
