Our AI-powered Decision Intelligence platform is built on 20 years of service operations experience and 15+ years of operational data. Customers typically release 20%+ capacity in their first 12 months and lift productivity by 30%+.
We're a global team with offices in the USA, UK, Ireland, India, South Africa and Australia. We're now looking for a Business Development Representative in the UK to help us reach more of the organizations that need us.
The role
You'll be the engine behind our pipeline. You'll generate demand from target accounts and turn it into qualified sales opportunities, through a mix of outbound and inbound work:
- Outbound: personalised cold calls, email sequences and social outreach to target accounts
- Inbound: responding to and qualifying leads who've come to us through our website, phone, email or social channels
- Existing customers: engaging current clients to build awareness, spot new opportunities and ask for referrals
- Partners and campaigns: developing partner channels and running sales plays and demand generation campaigns alongside Marketing

What you'll do day to day
- Respond to, engage and qualify inbound enquiries
- Hold engaging, intelligent conversations by phone and email
- Schedule qualification and discovery calls for our sales team
- Build account intelligence, relationship maps and use cases using direct engagement and insight tools
- Develop and manage sales plays, and run demand generation campaigns
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing colleagues
How we'll measure success
Value and quality of pipeline created, meetings scheduled, success of your plays and campaigns, and overall activity levels (calls, emails, messages).

About you
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, comfortable on the phone and on Zoom
- Able to understand a customer's pain points and connect them to the value we can deliver
- Driven, resilient and competitive, with a real desire to master the craft of selling
- Self-starting and quick to act without being told what to do
- Organised enough to juggle multiple priorities while hitting targets for your territory or accounts
- Analytical, and able to think on your feet
- A collaborative team player who works well with a distributed team
- Fluent in English
- Degree-educated, or equivalent experience (HS + relevant experience)
Nice to have: Previous BDR experience in financial services or insurance, and familiarity with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, HubSpot or Microsoft Dynamics.
