About our client
Our client is an insurtech changing how retailers protect their customers. They provide product protection insurance before, during and after the sale. Over the last year they have integrated more than 40 retailers. In 2026 they are expanding into every insurable retail category, and they need a Business Development Representative to help them scale.
What you'll do
- Find, qualify and book your own leads
- Use the sales stack daily, including Apollo, HubSpot and Pipedrive
- Learn a complex, regulated insurance product inside out
- Build relationships with retail decision-makers
- Work with the founders to test and refine the approach
- Help write the processes and playbooks the future sales team will use
- Stay responsive to retailers and prospects when they need you

What you'll bring
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a B2B sales role, ideally as an SDR or BDR
- Proven cold calling ability. You are comfortable picking up the phone and creating opportunities
- Experience with modern sales tools such as Apollo, HubSpot or Pipedrive
- Strong self-directed prospecting skills
- Curiosity and the drive to master a regulated product
- The ability to learn quickly and process information fast
- Availability to work from the Elephant and Castle office 3 days a week
