Business Development Representative
Aldgate, London | £35,000 to £37,500 base + £15,000 variable
About our client
Our client is building the AI operating system for innovation, creating technology that helps companies and patent teams build, protect and accelerate innovation.
Our client is focused on some of the most complex and exciting areas of technology, including AI, R&D, innovation and intellectual property. The business is looking for curious, commercially minded people who are brilliant at building relationships and who will enjoy becoming genuinely knowledgeable about the world their customers operate in.
The role
This is a consultative sell, not a numbers game. You won't be hammering the phones. You'll be learning how a prospect's business works, asking sharp questions, uncovering real problems and building relationships over time. You'll sit at the intersection of AI, R&D, innovation and IP, working with people at the cutting edge of technology. Over time you'll develop genuine expertise in complex subjects most salespeople never get close to. If you love learning as much as you love winning, this role will stretch you in the best way.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
