Business Development Representative
Moorgate, London | £30k to £35k base + uncapped commission
About our client
Our client is a fast-growing automation consultancy specialising in Intelligent Automation and AI-driven solutions. They help organisations automate the repetitive work that takes up valuable employee time, improving efficiency, reducing costs and allowing people to focus on higher-value work.
They're growing quickly and are looking for an ambitious Business Development Representative to join their sales team and play a key role in their continued growth. The role
The focus is outbound prospecting and inbound qualification, working closely with sales and marketing to build a strong pipeline. You'll be speaking to senior leaders at major UK organisations about AI and automation, two of the hottest topics in business right now. It's a fast way to build enterprise sales skills that will serve you for your whole career.
What you'll do
- Engage prospective clients through outbound calls, email campaigns and social selling
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Research target accounts and spot new business opportunities
- Work with sales and marketing on targeted campaigns and messaging
- Keep all activity up to date in HubSpot
- Meet or exceed your monthly and quarterly targets
- Partner with Account Executives to develop opportunities
- Keep sharpening your skills through coaching, feedback and hands-on experience

About you
- Proven experience in sales, business development or a similar role, ideally in technology or software services
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Resilient and self-motivated
- Competitive and driven by results
- Confident speaking to senior decision-makers
- Open to feedback and always improving
- Experienced with HubSpot and Microsoft Office
- Ambitious to build a long-term career in sales
