Business Development Representative - B2B Sales
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 + up to £14,000 commission (OTE £46,000) (Uncapped Comms)
Hours: Mon-Thur (08:45-17:00) Fri (08:45-16:45)
Location: Manchester (Fully Office Based)
Contract: Perm
About the Role
This is a full-cycle sales role, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable managing opportunities from initial prospecting and qualification through to presentation, proposal, negotiation, and close.
You'll work with both new and existing business customers, identifying opportunities, understanding their requirements, and recommending the right solutions to drive revenue.
What you'll be doing
- Prospecting and identifying new B2B sales opportunities
- Speaking with business decision-makers to understand their requirements
- Qualifying opportunities and managing your own sales pipeline
- Delivering sales presentations and product/service demonstrations
- Preparing and presenting proposals and quotations
- Handling objections and negotiating commercial terms
- Personally managing opportunities through to close
- Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
- Working towards individual sales and revenue targets
- Maintaining accurate pipeline and activity information within the CRM

What they're looking for
- Minimum 12 months' B2B sales experience
- Previous experience managing a full 360 sales cycle
- Proven experience personally closing new business
- Confident with outbound prospecting and developing new opportunities
- Experience presenting products/services and handling commercial conversations
- Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills
- Target-driven with a track record of achieving sales KPIs
- Confident communicating with business decision-makers
