The Business Development Representative is a full-time remote role responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing new business opportunities in the specialty insurance technology space. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Prospecting and generating leads
- Conducting outreach via calls, emails, and social channels
- Scheduling discovery meetings and demos for the sales and consulting teams
- Maintaining accurate records in CRM tools
- Tracking pipeline activity
- Collaborating closely with marketing to support campaigns and events
The role involves:
- Researching target markets
- Understanding client needs
- Articulating how VJSAR’s services and Context.Insure platform address those needs
This position also requires:
- Regular reporting on activity and results
- Contributing feedback to improve go-to-market strategies
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Inside Sales and Lead Generation to build and manage a qualified pipeline of prospects.
- Strong Communication abilities, including clear written and verbal communication and confident client-facing interactions.
- Proven Sales and Business Development skills, with experience in opportunity qualification and closing support.
- Familiarity with B2B technology or consulting services; experience in insurance, insurtech, or financial services is an advantage.
- Comfort using CRM systems, sales engagement tools, and basic productivity software to track and report on activities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with the capacity to understand complex solutions and translate them into clear value propositions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
