Business Development Representative (Tech & AI)

Are you a driven professional looking to make your mark in the fast-paced world of telecommunications? Trusip is looking for our first-ever Business Development Representative to join our growing team in Middleton, Manchester. This is a unique, pivotal role where you will help shape our sales pipeline and gain immense visibility while working at the cutting edge of AI-driven communication technology.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Business Development Representative, you will work closely with Robert Lamden and our Senior Business Development Manager, Claire, to drive new business growth. You will be at the forefront of our market expansion, specifically focusing on our new AI SIP Trunks and our upcoming Cloud Contact Centre platform.
- Lead Generation: Proactively follow up on marketing, PR, and email campaigns to identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
- Outreach: Conduct cold and warm calls to our extensive dealer database to introduce Trusip's innovative suite of solutions.
- Meeting Coordination: Secure virtual and face-to-face meetings for the senior sales team with high-potential prospective clients.
- Account Development: Take ownership of smaller dealer accounts, with the opportunity to manage your own portfolio within your first few months.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work directly with leadership to refine outreach strategies and optimize our overall sales processes.

Qualifications
- Education: GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade B or above) are essential. A degree is highly desirable.
- Communication: You possess excellent interpersonal skills and a confident, persuasive telephone manner.
- Mindset: You are a resilient, results-driven individual with a strong desire to grow your career within a dynamic tech environment.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Passion: A genuine interest in technology, specifically regarding AI and telecommunications.
