Business Development Representative
Location: Victoria, London (5 days per week on-site)
Contract: 3 Months
Hours: 37.5 hours per week -- Monday-Friday
Rate: £25.64 per hour (£50,000 annual equivalent)
Bonus: Up to 30% of salary
About the Company
Our client operates one of the UK's leading online vehicle marketplaces, helping more than 12 million people buy and sell vehicles without the hassle of traditional haggling. They are now seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join their London-based sales team on a 3-month contract.
The Role
Working from a comprehensive database of dealerships across the UK, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships, and promoting the benefits of partnering with a market-leading automotive platform. This is a consultative sales role where success will come from developing trust, understanding dealership needs, and demonstrating how the platform can support their buying and selling objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively contact automotive dealerships across the UK via phone and digital channels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Promote the benefits of partnership and drive engagement with the platform
- Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Conduct follow-up calls and nurture opportunities through to close
- Consistently achieve activity and revenue targets
- Maintain accurate records within CRM systems
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to maximise customer success
About You
- Minimum 5 years' demonstrable experience within outbound sales or business development
- Previous automotive industry experience would be highly advantageous
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven track record of successfully closing multiple deals and achieving sales targets
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Highly organised with excellent follow-up and pipeline management skills
- Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven
- Experience using CRM systems and managing large prospect databases
