🔐 WE’RE HIRING | BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

Chartsec Services is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our growing security business. This is a commission-based opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in security contracting, security solutions and winning new business.

💼 THE ROLE

You will be responsible for managing the full business development cycle, from identifying and generating leads through to negotiating and closing security contracts. This role is ideal for someone who already understands the security industry, knows how to identify commercial opportunities and has the confidence and ability to convert prospects into clients.

🔑 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate and develop new business opportunities
  • Identify organisations and clients requiring security services
  • Build relationships with senior decision-makers and prospective clients
  • Conduct outreach, meetings and presentations
  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable security solutions
  • Prepare proposals, quotations and tender opportunities
  • Negotiate with prospective clients and close contracts
  • Manage the complete sales pipeline from lead generation to contract completion
  • Develop long-term client relationships and generate repeat business
  • Consistently identify new revenue opportunities for Chartsec

🎯 ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

This is NOT a general sales position. Applicants must have previous experience within the security sector, particularly:

  • Proven experience winning contracts for security services
  • Business development or sales experience within the security industry
  • Strong understanding of security contracting
  • Experience generating and converting security-sector leads
  • Knowledge of professional security solutions
  • Experience dealing with commercial clients and decision-makers
  • Proven negotiation and contract-closing skills
  • A demonstrable track record of bringing new business

Experience in corporate security, guarding, close protection, residential security, security consultancy, surveillance, risk management or specialist security solutions will be highly advantageous.

💰 COMMISSION & EARNING POTENTIAL

Commission-Based Role 💷 Up to 50% commission on each individual sale, depending on the nature, value and profitability of the contract. There is no fixed commission amount — your earning potential will be determined by the business you generate and successfully close. The more business you bring in, the greater your earning potential.

  • Experienced within the security industry
  • Commercially driven and results-focused
  • Confident in winning new contracts
  • Well connected within the security sector
  • Highly capable of generating their own leads
  • Strong at negotiation and closing
  • Comfortable approaching senior decision-makers
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Focused on building long-term client relationships
