Job Description
The Opportunity
Flywire’s Travel business is growing rapidly, and we’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional ready to build their career while contributing to both pipeline generation and deal closures. The Associate AE will spend 80% of their time on Business Development Representative (BDR) responsibilities, driving lead generation and pipeline growth, and 20% of their time on Account Executive (AE) responsibilities, including closing smaller targeted accounts.

Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Leverage prospecting channels such as cold calling, email, and social media to identify and qualify sales opportunities.
- Manage inbound leads and convert them into qualified sales opportunities for the team.
- Partner with the marketing team to enhance campaigns and drive lead conversions.
- Research and identify new potential travel operator, DMC, and accommodation clients.
Collaboration
- Work closely with senior Account Executives and managers to support pipeline growth and sales strategy.
- Partner with internal teams, including marketing, product, and implementation, to ensure a seamless client experience
Qualifications
Here’s What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- BA/BS degree (required).
- 1-2 years of sales experience; experience in payments or the travel industry is highly advantageous.
Skills & Attributes
- Proactive, organised, and self-motivated with a strong desire to grow within a sales organisation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport quickly with clients.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other pipeline management tools (preferred but not required).
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
