£32,000 OTE - Uncapped commission
Hybrid:
You don’t need a previous sales job to build a career in sales. You do need the confidence to pick up the phone, start conversations and keep going when people say no.
At Glenigan, you’ll introduce businesses to construction intelligence that helps them find their next project, customer or order. Our customers include contractors, manufacturers and suppliers who need to know what’s being built, who’s involved and when to make contact.
This is a high-volume cold outbound role. You’ll research prospects, understand whether Glenigan could help their business and arrange qualified meetings for our Business Development Managers.
What you’ll do
- Find relevant businesses and contacts using research and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Start conversations by phone, supported by email and LinkedIn.
- Ask questions, qualify interest and arrange worthwhile sales meetings.
- Follow up, help prospects attend and give your sales colleagues a clear handover.
- Keep your activity accurate in HubSpot and use feedback to improve.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We’re looking for clear communication, curiosity, reliable follow-up and persistence. You’ll need to be comfortable working towards targets and willing to learn from coaching. Construction or SaaS experience isn’t required.
