Position Summary
The Business Development Representative (BDR) supports new business activities in the UK market, a key component contributing to pipeline growth and the generation of qualified opportunities.
The role is focused on the early stages of the sales cycle: prospect identification, outreach, qualification, and support to the sales team during initial engagement. It is an entry-level position with strong exposure to AI, SaaS, digital marketing, and e-commerce, ideal for building a solid foundation in commercial and strategic roles.

What you’ll do
- Support prospecting activities in the UK market, identifying target companies aligned with Fanplayr’s positioning.
- Build and manage prospect lists using internal sales intelligence tools.
- Execute multichannel outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls) to generate interest and initiate conversations.
- Qualify leads through initial discovery, gathering information on business models, goals, and needs.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to convert qualified leads into tangible opportunities.
- Prepare supporting materials for meetings and demos (presentations, initial insights, use cases).
- Keep internal monitoring files consistently updated with accurate and timely information on activities and pipeline.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to improve targeting and messaging.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of outbound and lead generation processes.

Who you are
- Strong interest in AI, digital, SaaS, e-commerce, and data-driven marketing.
- Analytical mindset: ability to quickly understand business contexts and identify opportunities.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Proactive and execution-oriented: able to move fast and iterate.
- Commercial attitude: curiosity, resilience, and ability to handle rejection and feedback.
- Organized and detail-oriented in managing information and tools.
- Energetic and motivated to grow in a fast-paced, international environment.
Requirements
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Familiarity with digital tools (LLM’s, CRM, Excel, LinkedIn).
- Interest in B2B sales and technology solutions.
- Graduate Degree. (Economics, Marketing, Communication, or related fields - preferred but not mandatory).
