Role Description

We are looking for a driven and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing commercial team, based in London. You will play a key role in identifying, qualifying and engaging potential customers, helping to build a healthy pipeline for our Account Executives and supporting our expansion into new markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research high-potential hospitality operators across the UK, USA, Middle East and Europe.
  • Run outbound campaigns across email, phone, LinkedIn and events to create meaningful conversations.
  • Qualify interest quickly and book discovery meetings for the Founder & AE team.
  • Build and maintain a clean, accurate pipeline in our CRM.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales to refine messaging, target lists and outreach tactics.
  • Become fluent in Edify's product and value proposition so you can handle early-stage questions confidently.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in a BDR, SDR or similar outbound sales role, ideally in SaaS.
  • Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and writing concise, personalised outreach.
  • Resilient, curious and genuinely interested in how hospitality operators run their businesses.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Coachable and hungry for feedback - you actively look for ways to improve.
  • Based in or able to commute to our London office near Tottenham Court Road.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling or prospecting into hospitality, restaurants or food & beverage.
  • Familiarity with sales engagement tools (e.g., Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, HubSpot).
  • Experience working in a fast-growing startup or early-stage commercial team.
