Pure Renewables Commercial
Pure Renewables Commercial specialises in large-scale industrial and commercial heat pump solutions. Since 2021, we have supported high-energy users across commercial buildings, industrial processes and other sectors to reduce carbon emissions and progress their decarbonisation goals.
We work with market-leading heat pump manufacturers to develop practical solutions around each customer’s requirements. Our focus on technical quality, responsiveness and customer care has helped us build strong relationships and repeat business as we continue to expand into new markets.
The Role
We are looking for a driven Business Development Representative who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and turning early conversations into credible sales opportunities. This is a proactive, outbound role requiring persistence, curiosity and confidence when engaging with new prospects.
Your initial assigned market will be Food & Beverage across the UK Midlands and Yorkshire. You will also work collaboratively with colleagues in Ireland and the UK and may support wider market-development activity as the business evolves.
What You’ll Do
- Research assigned markets and identify target organisations, decision-makers and potential heat-pump or decarbonisation opportunities.
- Lead outbound business-development activity, including prospecting, telephone outreach, email and LinkedIn engagement.
- Build relationships with prospective customers and relevant industry stakeholders.
- Understand the customer’s operational needs, decarbonisation drivers and project context, and communicate these clearly to our proposals, estimating and technical teams.
- Schedule and attend customer and stakeholder meetings, with support from the wider commercial and technical teams where appropriate.
- Support the preparation, presentation and follow-up of proposals and next-stage actions.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in HubSpot, including contacts, activity, opportunity status and agreed next steps.
- Work closely with the Sales Director, BDMs and wider commercial team to progress qualified opportunities through the sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Pure Renewables Commercial in Ireland and the UK.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
