Trading since 1989, e.surv Chartered Surveyors is the UK's number one residential surveyor and the largest provider of property risk expertise and residential surveying services. To put it into numbers, we complete more than one property inspection every 12 seconds and employ over 600 surveyors from Land’s End to John O’Groats and Northern Ireland. This gives us the flexibility to offer nationwide coverage combined with invaluable local knowledge.
We're part of the LSL Property Services Group PLC, which includes household names Your Move and Reeds Rains as well as the mortgage network PRIMIS. We work with lenders, intermediaries, social housing entities and estate agents in addition to private customers.
We’re thrilled to welcome a motivated Business Development Executive to our B2B Consumer team! In this key role, you’ll connect with B2B customers in the estate agency, brokerage, conveyancing, and PropTech sectors. Your focus will be on identifying new clients, guiding them through onboarding, and building strong, lasting relationships. Working remotely, you’ll manage your tasks while contributing to our growth goals. We’re looking for someone who has a proactive attitude and loves collaborating with internal teams to deliver great service. We can’t wait to see what you’ll bring to our team!
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and win new B2B accounts - Identify and contact all appropriate new B2B business opportunities, typically any business that have clients who require survey and valuation services such as agents, brokers etc.
- Conduct Outreach and Pitch Solutions - Utilise all forms of outreach such as phone, email and virtual meetings to engage prospects. Present tailored solutions that meet client needs and position e.surv as the preferred partner.
- Onboard New Clients and Manage Accounts - Ensure smooth onboarding for newly acquired clients. Manage accounts until they are actively transacting, providing support and guidance throughout the initial stages.
- Develop and Adjust Sales Strategies - Create and refine strategies to maximise efficiency and effectiveness. Adapt approaches based on market trends, client feedback, and company objectives.
- Provide Account Handovers and Reactivation - Hand over all active accounts to the Customer Success team following established procedures. Take ownership of reactivating dormant accounts when required.
- Maintain Accurate CRM Data and Reporting - Update and manage client information in CRM systems. Provide timely and accurate reporting to support decision-making and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams - Work closely with internal teams (Customer Success, Lead Conversion Partners & Accounts) to deliver seamless service and resolve client queries efficiently.
- Stay Informed on Industry Trends - Monitor market developments and industry news to identify opportunities and risks. Attend relevant events to build knowledge and expand networks.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience - Minimum 2-3 years in B2B Sales, Business Development, or a similar client facing role with a focus on winning new business.
- Track Record - Demonstrated success in securing new accounts and achieving revenue targets.
- Communication - Strong proactive communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Organisation - Highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident using technology and CRM systems and data-driven performance monitoring.
- Adaptability - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercial Awareness - Proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong business acumen.
- Desirable - Background in property, surveying, or financial services (not essential).
