Job Description
TOPdesk are looking for an outstanding candidate to join our Business Development Representative team in central London!
What are you going to do?
As a Business Development Representative you’ll be working in our sales team to build up and nurture our pipeline of potential customers. You’ll develop a keen understanding of our SaaS solution to be able to understand the clients’ challenges and problem-solve how our tool could help their businesses.
Day-to-day you’ll be responsible to:
- Source leads through outbound calling, email outreach, social media outreach
- Handle inbound leads from Marketing
- Nurture, further qualify, and ultimately convert these leads into product demonstration meetings for our Business Development Managers
- Serve as a key contact point for potential customers to discuss their technical requirements, budgets, timelines, and scope for implementation
- Occasionally attend demonstrations and trade shows around the UK with our BDMs
- Collaborate with marketing to think creatively about potential new avenues for attracting prospects
- Create Requests for Information and complete tenders to win new business opportunities

The team you’ll be joining
You’ll be working alongside the other BDRs at TOPdesk, reporting into the Global BDR Manager. You’ll collaborate closely with our local UK Business Development Managers and Marketing teams.
As TOPdesk has branches around the world, you’ll be part of an international organisation too! While you’ll be focusing on the UK markets, there may also be opportunities to collaborate with international colleagues.
Qualifications
- 1 year of outbound experience, B2B SaaS is an advantage
- A graduate with a 1st or 2:1 university degree preferred — all disciplines welcome
- Target-driven and competitive, with a hunter mentality
- Able to plan effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain a clear overview in a dynamic work environment
- Persistent and resilient in the face of rejection
- Experience with CRM (e.g. Salesforce or Hubspot) is a plus
- An interest in technology and software
- Exceptional and persuasive communication skills
- An energetic and influential individual
- Customer-oriented and sales-minded
- A team player with the ability to build relationships
- Problem-solving go-getter
- Ambitious and eager to learn
Additional Information
What we offer
- Competitive base salary of £33k-40k dependant on experience, with OTE ranging £45k-55k
- 26 days of holiday per year, plus public holidays and your birthday off

Compensation: GBP 33000 - GBP 40000 - yearly
