Founding UK BDR/SDR Business Development Representative (BDR / SDR) · UK, remote

We're working with our client, a global live-streaming and video-technology business, as they build out their UK sales presence. They want one of the first people on the ground.

That means getting in early: shaping how outbound actually runs, building the pipeline yourself, and having a real say in how the UK operation grows. Founding-team influence, working closely with the leadership team.

Their customers are production agencies, broadcasters, corporate media teams, event companies and anyone running serious live-video workflows across the UK, Europe and North America. The platform spans live streaming, video on demand, OTT, CDN, monetisation, secure video delivery and digital events.

The Role

This is a phone-led outbound role, first and foremost. You'll dig into target accounts, get senior decision-makers on the line, and turn those conversations into qualified new-business opportunities for the sales team.

Day to day, you'll be:

  • Getting senior decision-makers across the UK, Europe and North America on the phone
  • Researching and targeting the accounts worth your time
  • Opening conversations about live video, events and digital content
  • Booking qualified meetings for the sales team
  • Spotting live projects, contract-renewal dates and realistic buying timelines
  • Getting to what a customer actually needs and qualifying the real opportunities
  • Building the UK pipeline from nothing
  • Feeding objections, competitor moves and market signal back to the wider team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
