About Resi

We are Resi, and we’re on a mission to bring peace of mind to millions of stressed renovators. We help UK homeowners to turn their property into their dream home; think kitchen extensions, knocking down walls, or converting unused garages and lofts.

Extending is a big and stressful decision for people: it involves their home (which is often their biggest asset), a lot of money, and a process most people have never gone through before. We make that whole journey simpler. We design the extension, help sort planning permission, connect you with trusted builders, and can even help with the financing of the project. And all of this in one place, managed through our platform; instead of homeowners having to piece it together themselves.

We're the UK's largest and most successful company in doing this, with over 10,000 projects under our belt.

You don't need to know anything about architecture, construction or property to apply. What you do need is a love for B2C sales and an interest in what we do, and we’ll teach you the rest.

About The Role

We're looking for a Business Development Representative to join our in-house sales team - someone who has some sales experience already under their belt, who's looking to take their next step in their career within a consultative B2C sales role.

You'll own the full sales cycle from initial consultation through to close. You'll be kept on your toes by the diversity and nuance of what people are trying to build, leveraging the in-house knowledge of our other salespeople, plus Architectural Designers, Planners and Surveyors. Over time, you'll sharpen your craft through speaking to hundreds of homeowners about their project ideas, understanding their brief, fuelling their excitement, and helping them take their first step towards turning their dream project into a reality.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You'll Own

Your day to day will look like:

  • exploring customers' project goals, qualifying them to make sure they are the right fit for Resi and identifying likely objections early
  • accurately tracking project details to ensure the project is set up for success
  • selling Resi's services (Design and BuildReady across our three tiers of product) and handling objections through providing solution-based responses
  • building bespoke quotes and running a diligent follow-up process to maximise conversion
  • building a comprehensive book of referrals from your existing customer base
  • maintaining strong compliance with your database and customer tracking tools
  • holding a high standard of service at all times, while consistently hitting monthly revenue quotas

About You

  • the ability to connect and build rapport with people from all walks of life
  • an understanding of how to communicate Resi's vision and brand clearly and convincingly
  • curiosity about technology and new ways of doing things
  • a positive and innovative attitude towards AI
  • the ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team pulling toward a shared goal

It's a bonus if you already know a thing or two about home renovations, property, design or construction. But it's not a dealbreaker!

You probably won’t be a fit for us if:

  • you want to focus only on a part of the sales cycle, ie prospecting or closing, and not the full cycle
  • you want to meet customers face to face - we are an online architect!
  • you do not wish to use, engage with, or be a part of a company utilising artificial intelligence
