Business Development Representative - London (Hybrid)

B2B Payments & FX · High-Growth Scale-Up

The Company

A profitable, PE-backed B2B payments and foreign exchange company that has delivered 50% growth over two years and is closing 2025 with its strongest quarter on record. The business is building a robust settlement network across emerging markets with real-time programmable liquidity at scale - and has a clear mandate to exit.

This is not a start-up bet. It is a proven, revenue-generating business with institutional backing, a clear commercial trajectory, and a leadership team that has done this before.

The Opportunity

This is an early BDR hire into a new team - a high-energy, high-ownership role for someone who wants to build pipeline at the ground floor of a scaling payments business. The previous SDR Team Lead was promoted within six months. The progression structure is real, the path to equity is defined, and the tech stack is built to make you effective from day one.

What You Will Do

  • Generate and qualify new business pipeline across target accounts in the B2B payments and financial services space
  • Execute outbound prospecting across multiple channels - email, phone, LinkedIn, and events - using a strong tech stack that automates personalised outreach at scale
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers across financial institutions, fintechs, corporates, and payment businesses
  • Work closely with the Account Executive and commercial leadership team to ensure seamless pipeline handoff and deal progression
  • Leverage sharp ICP data to target the right accounts with the right message at the right time
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences - building market presence and generating introductions
  • Maintain accurate records and pipeline data in CRM to support forecasting and commercial planning

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
