The Role

As a Business Development Representative, you will generate new business opportunities by engaging prospective customers, identifying their challenges and arranging review appointments with our Account Managers. This role suits someone who enjoys speaking with people, is motivated by results and wants a clear route into a long-term sales career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect new businesses through outbound channels.
  • Introduce Mayday’s IT, cybersecurity, cloud, broadband and telephony solutions.
  • Qualify opportunities, identify customer needs and book review meetings for the sales team.
  • Build relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and achieve activity and appointment KPIs.

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with customers by phone.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic and a self-motivated, organised approach.
  • A genuine interest in learning and developing within technology sales.
  • Sales, telesales, customer service, appointment-setting or CRM experience is helpful but not essential.
