Role Description

Opensee is seeking a driven Business Development Representative with at least one year of relevant experience to join our team in London. You will be responsible for generating leads and coordinating meetings with financial institutions such as banks, hedge funds, and asset managers. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting through various channels, conducting outreach campaigns, nurturing leads, and scheduling meetings and demos for senior sales team members. The role involves collaborating closely with marketing and sales to refine messaging, maintain accurate records in CRM systems, and support pipeline growth and revenue targets.

As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in supporting sales and marketing efforts globally, while working from Opensee’s London office.

  • Outbound Prospecting: Generate new business pipeline through outbound prospecting and cold calling.
  • Book and prepare meetings: Book and prepare qualified meetings with key contacts at target accounts within our ICP.
  • Work with and discover state-of-the-art tools: Learn and specialize in our tech stack and continue to identify the latest AI-powered marketing and sales tools to improve our ways of working.
  • Manage CRM: Maintain and update CRM (Hubspot) records to keep our pipeline accurate and organized.
  • Collaborate with team members: Work closely with senior members of our Go-to-Market Team to ensure smooth communication and alignment across teams.

About You

  • Already completed at least one year of experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR) or Sales Development Representative (SDR) in B2B SaaS, Fintech or Financial Services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different seniority levels.
  • Strong interest in fintech, financial markets, business development, and sales.
  • Aspire to have a career in technology sales.
  • Comfortable using CRM software to manage and track leads. Basic familiarity is sufficient; training provided.
  • Familiarity with outbound sales and marketing tools (e.g., Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Sales & Marketing systems, AI / LLMs) is a big plus.
