Description
MNI has grown 30% year-on-year for five years running. We are scaling fast, bringing on 60 new Business Development Representatives each year to help write the next chapter of our growth story!
This is an exciting entry point into financial market sales through our Account Management or New Business channel. At MNI, we foster talent from the ground up, with 95% of our senior leadership having started in the BDR seat. Progression here is earned on merit, not tenure. On average, BDRs move into a full sales role in Client Relations, Account Management, or New Business within just 6 months.
Reporting to our Global BDR Managers, you will learn the fundamentals of consultative selling & build real knowledge of financial markets. From day one, you will be speaking directly with C-suite clients, honing your commercial instincts, and laying the groundwork for a long-term career in sales.

Where you fit in
You will sit on one of three core regional desks — EU, US, or APAC— and develop deep expertise in a specific asset class or market area, whether that is Macro, Commodities, Credit, or Data. At every stage, you will learn to sell a product that the world's largest financial institutions rely on to make critical decisions.
Account Management
- Collaborate with Account Managers to develop account strategies, spotting opportunities to grow relationships within existing clients as their needs evolve and our product expands
New Business
- Prospect and qualify new business opportunities across your assigned market, identifying and engaging the institutions that stand to benefit most from MNI's coverage
Across Both Channels
- Conduct outreach to existing and prospective clients via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Meet and exceed monthly KPIs for outreach activity and meetings booked
Who you are

- Previous sales, business development, or client-facing experience is a bonus, not a requirement — we'll teach you the rest!

- £34,000 base salary. Uncapped commission, with realistic £38,000–£46,000 OTE in Year 1
