Business Development Representative (DACH)
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Development Representative (DACH) based in United Kingdom.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional to build new business in the rapidly evolving networking and cybersecurity market.
You will generate qualified opportunities through strategic outbound prospecting, sharp qualification, and compelling discovery conversations.
Working closely with the sales and marketing teams, you will build a strong pipeline and connect prospects with solutions that simplify secure connectivity.
The role combines commercial ownership, technology exposure, and frequent interaction with senior stakeholders.
You will operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment where initiative, persistence, and measurable results are highly valued.
With strong leadership visibility and a clear path toward a Sales Representative position, this role offers significant career acceleration.
Accountabilities:
- Generate qualified sales opportunities by researching prospects, identifying business needs, conducting discovery, and handing opportunities to the appropriate sales team member.
- Build and develop target accounts through outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email campaigns, social selling, events, content initiatives, and vertical campaigns.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads through structured due diligence, assessing opportunity potential, customer needs, and fit.
- Clearly communicate the value proposition of managed SASE, global connectivity, networking, and security solutions to prospective customers.
- Nurture leads through timely, relevant follow-up and create high-quality conversations that contribute to pipeline growth and revenue generation.
- Maintain accurate prospect and activity information in the CRM, ensuring all relevant data is captured following opportunity handoff.
- Track territory activity, prospect engagement, and pipeline development, providing regular updates to management.
- Partner with Marketing to identify and develop campaigns and programs capable of generating high-quality leads.
- Build industry credibility by staying informed about cybersecurity, networking, and market trends and contributing to relevant professional and social media conversations.
- Collaborate closely with the wider sales organization to ensure qualified opportunities are transitioned efficiently and effectively.
- Take advantage of strong leadership exposure and actively contribute to the development of a growing business development function.

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of sales experience, ideally within technology, cybersecurity, networking, SaaS, or a related B2B environment.
- Fluent English is required; German language skills are a strong advantage for the DACH market.
- Demonstrated experience with outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and account research.
- Strong commercial drive and a genuine passion for developing new business and creating sales opportunities from the ground up.
- Tech-savvy mindset with the ability to quickly understand technical products and translate their benefits into clear, customer-focused messaging.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tell concise, compelling stories and engage prospects effectively.
- Strong qualification, discovery, and lead-nurturing capabilities, with a focus on identifying genuine customer needs.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize activities, take initiative, and consistently follow through.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, performance-oriented environment with a high degree of autonomy.
- Experience with CRM and sales engagement platforms such as HubSpot, Salesloft, or similar tools.
- A proactive, persistent, and resilient approach, combined with a strong hunter mentality and willingness to pursue new opportunities.
- Interest in cybersecurity, networking, SASE, cloud connectivity, or related technology markets is highly desirable.
