About Us

Williams Stanley & Co is a leading accountancy firm catering to a diverse range of clients within the hospitality industry, from high street chains to family-run cafes. Our company began with a mission to provide accurate and actionable financial insights to businesses, drawing from our founders' own experiences in managing multiple rapidly growing ventures.

About Teampay

TeamPay is a next-generation payroll platform built specifically for hospitality and powered by AI — "Hospitality Payroll, Reimagined." Built by hospitality experts for the sector, TeamPay automates payroll from start to finish: paying staff correctly and on time, handling shifts, tips, tronc and variable hours, and cutting out the manual checks that cause costly mistakes.

At the centre of the product is Nora, TeamPay's AI "PayPilot" — she answers payroll questions from managers and staff instantly, flags errors before they become issues, and takes the day-to-day stress out of running payroll.

TeamPay is owned and operated by Williams Stanley & Co, giving it the backing, hospitality-sector credibility and client network of an established accountancy firm behind a genuinely modern product.

About You

We are hiring a Business Development Representative to generate and book qualified meetings for TeamPay with multi-site hospitality operators, and to run the product demo personally.

This is an entry-level, outbound-focused role: you own the meeting and the demo end-to-end, and a Senior Member steps in to close once the demo has landed and the prospect is ready to move forward.

The role exists to build a healthy, predictable pipeline of qualified meetings that convert into paying TeamPay clients — not simply to fill a calendar.

Commission is deliberately weighted to the outcome of the meeting rather than the booking of it, so the quality of who you get in front of matters as much as how many.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

YOU ARE

  • Background in SaaS/software sales, or the hospitality sector, ideally both.
  • Comfortable presenting live and running a product demo, not just booking a meeting and handing it off.
  • 0–2 years' sales, business development or customer-facing experience — or a highly motivated graduate/career-changer with the sector or SaaS background above.
  • Confident and resilient on outbound prospecting, comfortable with rejection.
  • Organised, with strong CRM hygiene and follow-up discipline.
  • Genuinely curious about the hospitality sector and how TeamPay solves real operator problems.
  • Coachable — willing to adjust targeting, messaging and demo delivery based on what converts, not just what books.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Proactively source and prospect target accounts within the TeamPay ideal customer profile — multi-site hospitality/restaurant and pub operators.
  • Book qualified meetings with the right decision-maker at target accounts, via outbound calling, email and other channels.
  • Qualify prospects against agreed criteria before booking, so meetings are worth running.
  • Run the product demo personally, confidently presenting TeamPay and handling first-line questions.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records for all activity, meetings, demos and outcomes.
  • Hand over cleanly to James for the close conversation once the demo has landed and the prospect is ready to move forward.
  • Track the outcome of every demo through to close, since commission is tied to that outcome.
  • Continuously refine targeting, messaging and demo delivery based on which meetings convert, not just which meetings get booked.

Targets & KPIs

  • 20 qualified meetings booked and held per month.
  • £1,000 new Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) closed/won per month, attributable to meetings this role booked and demoed.

COMMISSION STRUCTURE

Commission is deliberately weighted toward the outcome of the meeting, not the booking of it. A structure paid purely on meetings booked incentivizes volume over quality — this structure rewards meetings that actually convert into revenue.
