About the Role
Jumio is looking for an experienced Business Development Representative to join our EMEA Business Development team.
This role is focused heavily on outbound prospecting and creating new business opportunities within targeted accounts across the EMEA region. We are looking for someone who has already built a strong foundation as an SDR or BDR and understands what it takes to successfully prospect into new organizations, engage senior decision makers, and generate qualified sales opportunities.
The ideal candidate is motivated, comfortable working in a high activity sales environment, and has a demonstrated track record of success in a previous SDR or BDR role.
What You'll Do
- Execute a consistent outbound prospecting strategy across assigned accounts and territories
- Identify and engage key decision makers through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other prospecting channels
- Research target accounts and contacts to develop relevant and personalized outreach
- Generate qualified meetings and sales opportunities for the Account Executive team
- Partner closely with Account Executives to develop account strategies and identify new business opportunities
- Maintain accurate prospect, activity, and opportunity information within Salesforce
- Manage follow up activity and maintain consistent engagement across target accounts
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly activity, meeting, and qualified opportunity targets
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, and other teams to support Jumio’s growth throughout EMEA

Experience and Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as an SDR, BDR, or similar business development role
- Meaningful outbound prospecting experience is required
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets
- Experience using Salesforce.com
- Strong communication skills across phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Confidence engaging prospects and navigating conversations with business decision makers
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable working in a performance driven sales environment
- Self motivated, coachable, curious, and willing to continuously improve
- Ability to work effectively with Account Executives and other cross functional partners
Great to Have Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience within identity verification, fraud prevention, fintech, financial services, cybersecurity, compliance, SaaS, or a related industry
- Experience prospecting into enterprise organizations
- Experience using modern sales engagement and prospecting platforms
- Experience selling or prospecting across multiple EMEA markets
- Additional European language skills are a plus

Successful BDRs at Jumio are proactive, consistent, and comfortable creating opportunities rather than waiting for them. They understand how to research an account, develop a thoughtful outreach strategy, engage the right people, and create enough interest to earn a conversation.
This is a role for someone who enjoys outbound sales, takes ownership of their results, and wants to continue developing their career within a global technology organization.
