Your opportunity

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), your role will be to generate leads for net new customers for our enterprise or mid-market sales team.

Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking Sales Development Representatives to strengthen our sales team in Europe. Based in London, you will be a key part of our global sales team, offering Scandit’s disruptive software-based mobile barcode scanning solutions and innovative data capture solutions to enterprise and mid-sized customers. Our target markets include businesses mainly in retail, transport and logistics. Fluency in French is a must!

What You Will Do

  • Generate pre-sale opportunities through targeted outreach via phone, email, social and others.
  • Qualify inbound leads related to target accounts efficiently and effectively to increase conversion rates and value to pipeline.
  • Perform qualification calls with high level prospects that assess commercial, technical and product fit.
  • Consistent delivery of quality outreach that drives engagement in senior personas in target accounts.
  • Research named accounts based on quarterly performance, organisational challenges, executive personnel changes, market conditions, and existing technology.
  • Orchestrate discussions with senior executives around their business needs.
  • Set up meetings and demos for Account Executives.
  • Maintain lead, account, contact, and opportunity data across CRM platforms.
  • Keep detailed and accurate notes of all sales related activities.
  • Work closely with the Account Executives and field marketeers by country and/or vertical.

Who You Are

  • 1 or more years of sales or related market experience within software/SaaS (mobile a plus)
  • Strong desire to learn and succeed in tech sales.
  • Excel in a fast-paced start-up environment and able to quickly adapt to change.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/spoken communication skills.
  • Energy, enthusiasm and commitment to pick up the telephone and make calls!
  • Fluency in English AND French. Additional languages are a plus.
