  • Location: United Kingdom & Ireland
  • Work Mode: Remote, with travel expected up to 20%
  • Compensation: Competitive salary plus commission
  • Start date: September 2026
  • Working time: Full-time
  • Employment type: Permanent
  • Reporting to: Global Head of Alliance & Channels

About the role

The Business Development Representative Healthcare EMEA is responsible for driving growth across healthcare providers, academic institutions, research organisations, and public-sector healthcare initiatives.

As an individual contributor, you will own the full business development lifecycle, from opportunity identification and qualification through commercial negotiation, contracting, governance and account expansion.

Working closely with our product, delivery, data, and commercial teams, you will develop strategic healthcare partnerships that generate sustainable revenue and support BC Platforms’ growth objectives across the EMEA region.

What you will do

  • Drive new business opportunities and build a strong healthcare partnership pipeline across EMEA
  • Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and contracting activities from opportunity to close
  • Develop and maintain account plans and contribute to the regional healthcare market strategy
  • Develop trusted relationships with healthcare, research, and public-sector stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful customer and partner outcomes
  • Achieve pipeline, revenue, and growth objectives while helping shape healthcare strategy

What success looks like

  • Creating new pipeline opportunities across existing and new healthcare partners
  • Progressing pipeline opportunities from their initial stages through to closed won
  • Successfully achieving quarterly and annual bookings

What makes you a strong fit

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare, life sciences, health technology, or related sectors
  • Proven success in business development, partnerships, account growth, or enterprise sales
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and sales cycles
  • Strong commercial negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Fluent English

  • Experience selling solutions for healthcare, analytics, genomics, digital health, or SaaS
  • Experience working with healthcare partnerships across the EMEA region
