Business Development Professional
Homes are evolving. Today's builders are looking for innovative ways to deliver smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable living experiences. Schneider Electric is seeking a growth-oriented business development professional to help drive the adoption of connected home and energy solutions across Canada's leading home builders.
What will you do?
This is an opportunity to influence the future of residential construction by helping builders embrace technologies that support electrification, energy management, resiliency, and connectivity. You'll lead strategic growth initiatives while positioning Schneider Electric as the preferred partner for innovative home solutions.
- Develop and execute growth plans focused on Canada's largest home builders and developers.
- Drive category expansion in home energy management, EV charging, backup power, HVAC integration, and connected home technologies.
- Build strong relationships with key home builder executives, influencers, and industry leaders.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities within residential electrification and smart homes.
- Collaborate across sales, marketing, product management, and supply chain teams to accelerate growth.
- Serve as a champion for innovation and new business opportunities within the home builder channel.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- 7+ years of sales, account management, or business development experience within the home builder segment.
- Strong network and understanding of home builders, developers, and residential construction stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into business opportunities.
- Experience in residential construction, electrical, HVAC, energy management, smart home, or connected technologies.
- Ability to travel up to 50% nationally.

The expected pay range is CAD 102,850 - CAD 145,200 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives.
